Information on the personal data processing

The Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30.06.2003 guarantees that personal data is processed in compliance with the rights, basic freedom and dignity of private individuals, with particular reference to confidentiality and personal identity.

In accordance with art. 13 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003, the Brunello agritourism, as data controller , is obliged to provide the interested party with specific information regarding the purposes and processing methods of personal data.

Personal data sources

Personal data obtained directly or from another source within the company’s field of business, is processed in compliance with Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the usual confidentiality obligations.

Purposes of data processing

  1. to send notices by e-mail regarding information, updates and new services published on our website.
  2. to send e-mails containing commercial, promotional and publicity information.
  3. to solicit support, by e-mail, for new services offered following registration.
  4. to comply with legal obligations and provisions set out by the Authorities.
  5. for preliminary requirements prior to the stipulation of agreements.
  6. for the fulfilment of obligations and execution of operations provided for by agreements.
  7. to fulfil obligations and requirements (administrative, tax, accounting, etc.) pursuant to current law.
  8. to manage technical support services with regard to marketed products
  9. to check the progress of relationships with clients and suppliers and related risks
  10. to manage external partnerships
  11. for all other operational and management requirements

Data collected will be used in anonymous form, even for studies and statistical research.

Data supply is not compulsory, except where provided for by current law. However, failure to supply it may make it impossible to establish relationships and carry out agreements.

Processing methods

Data processing may be carried out using manual, automated, IT and electronic tools to manage, store and transmit the data and are suitable for guaranteeing security and confidentiality.

Third parties to which data may be disclosed

Data may be disclosed to:

  • Parties with the authority to access the same data in compliance with provisions of law or regulations
  • Credit institutes for the management of receivables and payments, financial, insurance and auditing institutions
  • External parties that carry out contract-related activities (road haulage contractors, forwarders, etc)
  • Data processing and IT services centres
  • External service providers
  • Marketing research companies

data may be transferred abroad, also to non EU countries.

Data subjects have the right to access, erase, rectify, update, integrate or oppose the processing of their data, as well as other rights pursuant to art. 7 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003 whose complete text relating to the rights of the interested party is available on the website www.garanteprivacy.it.
