IL PALAZZONE AGRITOURISM
F.LLI BRUNELLO DISTILLERY

The evocative scenery of the Vicenza countryside. Nature’s colours shine on fertile land and light shimmers on the fields, drawing your gaze up to where the Berici hills softly begin to rise.
In this splendid natural setting stands the big, old palazzo, known as “il Palazzone” (the big palazzo) in the local village of Montegalda. This is the name we have chosen for our agritourism, keeping the thread of a longstanding tradition alive.

Tradition, which for us means primarily the distillation of grappa. In fact, next to the agritourism, it is possible to visit what is considered one of Italy’s oldest distilleries. However, “Il Palazzone” is also everything you could possibly want in an agritourism: the flavour of authentic produce fresh from the soil and pleasant moments of relaxation
al fresco.

Just 200 metres from the agritourism, in the splendid setting of Villa Fogazzaro-Colbachini, you can visit the Bell Museum, the Romantic Garden that surrounds the Villa and the Italian Garden.

Then, if you fancy immersing yourself in the world of roses, we recommend you take in the Azienda Agricola La Campanella, just a bike ride away in Cervarese S. Croce, and specialised in the cultivation of roses, where Anna will give you a guided tour of the different varieties in the nursery.
